ICT specialist / ICT specialist EFZ
ICT specialists look after customers independently or in cooperation with other specialists. You install hardware and software, expand device configurations, instruct users and work in ICT support. They also support users in handling ICT resources and take care of the maintenance of ICT user terminals. They know the company-specific settings of the hardware used and the standard / operating applications in order to be able to act quickly and in high quality during installations and in the event of support.

Training in the company
The apprenticeship lasts 3 years. During the first year of your apprenticeship, you will attend the basic year of training in Bern for 7 months. You will then be trained and deployed in our IT department according to the training plan.
Technical teaching at the vocational school
During the entire apprenticeship period you will attend the vocational school in Bern, during the first year of the apprenticeship on 2 days, in the second and third year of the apprenticeship on one day. All inter-company courses for the entire apprenticeship are covered in the basic apprenticeship year.
Career prospects
As an ICT specialist EFZ, you have many opportunities to continue your education (e.g. ICT application developer, business IT specialist) or to specialize (IT security or programming).
